Effective January 1, 2026, the parking lot located at 329 South Sanford Avenue (JALY Fresh Market) cannot be used for general public parking use, only for customers of the JALY Fresh Market.
Since July 2017, the City and property owner at 329 South Sanford Avenue (JALY Fresh Market) had an agreement in place to allow public parking after 5:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. 7 days a week. During this term of this agreement the city has made many improvements to the parking lot, but after several months of negotiations, the property owner and the city were unable to reach an agreement.
