Effective July 1, 2026, rates for residential and commercial garbage collection services will increase.
Residential rates will be $25.13 per month, and Commercial rates will be $8.37 per cubic yard.
This rate adjustment is necessary due to rising operational costs within the waste management industry, including increases in labor, fuel, and equipment expenses. The City’s solid waste disposal services operate entirely on an enterprise fund model. The program is funded fully through user fees, ensuring that utility service charges directly sustain the infrastructure and collections.
