Parks and Recreation department offers a wide variety of adult sports programs. We have football, volleyball, softball, and more. All of the programs are listed through our online customer portal. Flag Football
The Sanford-Seminole Flag Football Leagues are provided to the citizens of Sanford and Seminole County though a combined effort of the City of Sanford Parks and Recreation Department, the Sanford Police Department and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
The league consists of team registrations with a cost of $400 per team. Each team will play minimum of 6 games. It is open to all aged 18 and over. Play will consist of 7 on 7. All games will be played at the Tim Raines Sports Park at 1211 Mellonville Avenue in Sanford. Games will be scheduled for Sunday afternoons with game times to be determined by the number of teams in the league. No games will be scheduled before noon on Sundays.

Softball
The City of Sanford Recreation Department offers several adult softball leagues throughout the year, including Church and Recreational Leagues on Monday and Coed
Wednesday nights. Our leagues are sanctioned by the City of Sanford Recreation Department & Central Florida ASA/USA.
- Registration November 13th – January 1st
- Cost Per Team: $350.00 plus $45 ASA fee.
- Season starts the week of January 8, 2024

Volleyball

- Registration June 10, 2024 through July 28, 2024 (or until full)
- Cost Per Team: $200.00
- 18 years and older
- Games are played Sunday afternoons and evenings beginning August 4, 2024
- Games held at Westside Community Center, Sunday evenings
