NOTICE OF FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING
The City of Sanford will be conducting routine fire hydrant flushing throughout the service area during the hours or 7 AM until 3 PM Monday through Thursdays. HYDROMAX is the contractor providing the service.
Residents may experience:
- Temporary reduced water pressure
- Discolored or cloudy water
- Rust-colored water
This discoloration is temporary and does not pose a health risk. If discolored water occurs, please run cold water from an inside faucet for several minutes until the water clears. Avoid washing white clothing during flushing periods.
