PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the City of Sanford, Florida, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida, that it will be considering the approval of a Water Facilities Plan (WFP) for sewer improvements to reduce inflow and infiltration into the city’s sewer collection system along with the hardening of infrastructure at the city’s North Water Reclamation Facility under a State Revolving Fund (SRF) grant in the amount of $19,166,503.00 at 7:00 PM on November 9, 2026 during its regularly scheduled commission meeting located at 300 N. Park Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771. Grant funding is being made available under a supplemental clean water appropriation relating to hurricanes Helene and Milton (SAHM) and public comment on the plan is welcomed. A copy of the WFP is available in the city clerk’s office.
