Welcome the City of Sanford performance and progress page. This is the central location to learn about the City’s current strategic plan, performance indicators, and general progress updates.
The City of Sanford developed the current strategic plan to ensure that the organization’s vision guides the development of programs, the delivery of services, and provides focus for our planning and budgeting efforts. This plan goes into effect in October of 2025, and the implementation process will go through September of 2030 (a five-year period).
This site is dedicated to providing performance updates throughout the year. In addition to the website’s data driven information, an annual review will be conducted of each Department’s implementation process and progress via the City Manager Annual Strategic Update and the Annual Budget book. These reviews are meant to provide perspective, transparency, and a general overview for the Department’s leadership, Commission, and the public.
