Under the Radar: Sanford During the WWII Years

In celebration of 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, we want to bring you stories of the brave Sanfordites who went overseas to fight for our nation, as well as the home effort that not only boosted morale, but provided key support to our military efforts. Additionally, we explain how the Sanford Naval Air Station was not only formed during WWII, but provided vital training for American soldiers.

This exhibit will run until Fall, 2025.
