Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony

Join the City of Sanford, Seminole County, the Sanford Police Department, Sanford Fire Department, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, and Seminole County Fire Department as we gather to honor and remember the heroes and innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Marking the 25th Anniversary of Patriot Day, this solemn ceremony brings our community together in reflection, gratitude, and unity. The ceremony will feature a key moment of silence at 10:28 a.m., marking the exact moment following the collapse of both World Trade Center towers.
