Join us for National Night Out with the Sanford Police Department at Fort Mellon Park!

Connect with your neighbors and the Sanford Police Department during National Night Out, a night dedicated to fun, unity, and community safety. This free, family-friendly event is a great way to unite against crime while building strong relationships between residents and law enforcement. Head to Sanford’s scenic Riverfront for an unforgettable night! The kids will love the free games and activities in the Kids Zone, thanks to Ladies 327! Plus, enjoy an exciting K-9 demonstration, music, and explore a wide range of local vendors!

The City of Sanford’s recognition of the National Night Out Against Crime event will be from 5 – 8 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in the southeast corner of Fort Mellon Park, near the basketball courts. National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes law enforcement, community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie. 

Road Closure:  San Juan Avenue, from 1st Street to Seminole Boulevard, from 8 AM until 9 PM.
