Get Hook’d on Lake Monroe Kids Fishing Rodeo

The Get Hook’d on Lake Monroe Weekend winds down with a final fun, free and educational event just for kids!  The  Get Hook’d on Lake Monroe Kid’s Fishing Rodeo occurs from 10 AM – NOON on Sunday, January 19th at Lake Carola on Seminole Boulevard.  The first 150 kids to register at the Gumbo Wars tent at the Get Hook’d on Lake Monroe Seafood Festival will win a free Fishing Pole AND tackle box!  All participants can participate in a rotating 5-Course Fishing Conservation Class —perfect for learning all the tips and tricks. Then, everyone gets to practice in Lake Carola and enjoy your catch!
