City of Sanford Commissioner Kerry S. Wiggins, Sr. cordially invites you to attend the 6th Annual District 2 Community Meeting & SCPS Back to School Event. This two-part community gathering is your opportunity to connect directly with local leaders, voice your feedback, and get your family fully prepared for the upcoming school year.

Part 1: Community Meeting with City Officials

• Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• Details: Come out to share your concerns, questions, and suggestions about your community. Sanford’s City Manager and City Staff will be on hand to listen and answer your questions, with representatives present from:

  • Police and Fire Departments

  • Code Enforcement

  • Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)

  • Building Inspections

  • Parks and Recreation

  • Planning and Zoning

  • Public Works/Utilities

Part 2: Back to School Event with Seminole County Public Schools

• Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

• Details: Gear up for a successful school year! Connect with school representatives, discover local resources, and access valuable student support services.

Participating Schools & Organizations Include:

• High Schools: Seminole, Crooms, Lake Mary

• Middle Schools: Millennium, Sanford, Greenwood Lakes, Markham Woods

• Elementary Schools: Crystal Lake, Bentley, Hamilton, Midway, Idyllwilde, Pine Crest, Wicklow, Goldsboro, Wilson

• Community Partners & Services: True Health, Seminole State College, Seminole County Health Department, FIN–Families in Need, Red Apple Dining, SCPS Transportation, Health Services, Community Involvement, Student Support Services, and more!
