Friends of the Poor Walk

Join us for the 17th Annual Friends of the Poor Walk in Sanford, Florida, on Saturday, March 28, 2026!

Hosted at the picturesque Fort Mellon Park, this inspiring community event begins with registration at 8 AM, followed by the walk at 9 AM. Participants can enjoy a light breakfast while getting energized for a day of fun and philanthropy.

This year, the walk is dedicated to the beloved Vincentian, Judy Wilhelm, and promises to be a memorable experience with activities including “Sweating with Helen,” raffle baskets, door prizes, and goodie bags for all participants. With a suggested donation of just $20 per walker, you can make a difference and help those in need.

For those who prefer, a virtual walk option is available with a minimum $50 donation.
