15th Annual Turkey Day 5K

The 15th Annual Turkey Day 5K in the City of Sanford is Seminole County’s largest Thanksgiving Day fun run. This event is open to all participants – competitive runners, joggers, and walkers as a great annual tradition for all families and friends. 

And don’t forget – Free Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate and donuts from Sanford’s own Donuts To Go. 

Turkey Day 5K In Person Costume Contest: Come dressed in your favorite and most unique Thanksgiving Day costume. Be sure to arrive early so that our judges can select our finalists by 7:35A. At 7:40A, we will have the finalists gather by the starting corral where all of the participants in the race will vote by loudest applause for the overall winner. The winner of the costume contest will receive a $100 Visa gift card. The contest is open to all registered participants with a race bib.
