Iranian Fire Festival

Step into the heart of Persian culture at the annual Persian Fire Festival – a vibrant celebration honoring the ancient tradition of Persian New Year – to welcome the arrival of spring with joy, music, and community spirit.  Among all of the ancient Persian festivals, perhaps, Chaharshanbe Suri is the most exciting of them all!  Literally meaning “Wednesday Feast”, it is a celebration of the eve of the last Wednesday of every year in the Persian solar calendar. 

The Iranian-American Community Center is hosting the Iranian Fire Festival, from 5 – 9 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Ft. Mellon Park.
