Employee Art Gallery

“After Hours” is the third installation of public art in City Hall, managed by the Public Art Commission and part of the City of Sanford’s Art in Public Places program.

A diverse array of artwork is exhibited, featuring current and retired Sanford employees, representing many departments of the City.
The works of art currently on display share a variety of mediums, including acrylic and oil painting, photography, ceramics and stitch work.
In their weekday lives, our employees work tirelessly providing citizens with high quality municipal services. In their own “After Hours”, many employees and retirees turn their attention to artistic expression. This exhibit celebrates these talented artists, who show the same commitment to fine arts as they do to providing excellent public service.

We welcome all to join us at City Hall for an hour of art appreciation for our City employees. The exhibit is open for public viewing Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30 pm. All are welcome! Art enriches everyone.
