9th Annual Sanford Mardi Gras

The 9^th Annual Sanford Mardi Gras will again feature a 4 pm parade ‘Sashay’ on Sanford Avenue, from 6^th Street to 2^nd Street, ending and dissolving into a street festival with a variety of vendors. The parade portion of the event will end by 4:30 pm.

The applicant requests road closures of 6^th Street, from Palmetto Avenue to Sanford Avenue for parade staging and lineup from 3 – 4 pm; Sanford Avenue, from 1^st Street to 6^th Street and 2^nd Street, from Sanford Avenue to Cypress Avenue, from 4 – 5 pm for the Sashay; and 2^nd Street, from Sanford Avenue to Magnolia Avenue, and Palmetto Avenue, from 1^st Street to 3^rd Street, from 1- midnight.
