DESCRIPTION:															\nJoin us on Monday, January 20th from 10 AM – 4 PM to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with this year’s theme: “Men of the Movement: Charting A Path Forward.”  \nThe day begins with a 10 AM Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade along Historic Goldsboro Boulevard, from Persimmon Avenue to South Holly Avenue.  The parade is expected to draw 2,500 spectators and is a highlight of the day. It features a diverse and vibrant lineup of local school bands, dancers, flag bearers, community groups, and more.\nFollowing the parade, at 11 AM, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Festival in the Park will begin downtown at 221 N.
