DESCRIPTION:At 9 AM, Seminole State College’s Brass Quintet presents a Memorial Day tribute on the apron of Veterans Memorial Park as Park Avenue transforms into ‘Hero’s Avenue’ with a display of Military, Police, Fire, and Sheriff Vehicles providing guests with a hands-on experience and an opportunity to learn about the relevance that these vehicles have played, and the personal stories of those who own them or have served on them.\nAt 10 AM, the City of Sanford’s Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony begins in Veterans Memorial Park, with Seminole County’s Veterans Service Officer, Jason Although as the Master of Ceremonies and Lieutenant Colonel Wayne A. Fogel, Retired, providing the Memorial Day Address.  The Remembrance Ceremony has been created in partnership with US Submarine Veterans.\n\n
