DESCRIPTION:\nThe Sanford Museum invites you to the Promenade in the Park to celebrate its 65th Anniversary on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Guests are encouraged to wear their interpretation of 19th-century clothing and play some games of the past such as croquet, badminton, and horseshoes. This outdoor, community picnic under the tree canopy of Ft. Mellon will have free fun, games and snacks for all.  Museum Tours will be given every 30 minutes.  At 1 PM,  a lecture about the City of Sanford’s History will be given by Sanford Museum’s curator, Brigitte Stephenson.  Bring your lawn chair or blankets, drinks and your picnic basket to enjoy the day with us!\n\n
