Building Permits
All permit plans submitted after February 28, 2009 must be designed according to the 2007 version of the Florida Building Code.

Business Tax Receipts
Anyone opening a business within the city limits of Sanford must obtain a Business Tax Receipt before commencing business.
City of Sanford Business Tax Receipts are obtained at Sanford City Hall located at 300 N. Park Avenue.
We process Business Tax Receipts Monday through Friday from 8AM – 4PM.
Fictitious name, corporation or limited liability corporation information can be obtained from the Division of Corporations.
